Vocabulary

1. Force:  A push or pull exerted by one object on another.
                            

  • Ana did force when she carried the table.
2. Friction: A force that opposes the motion of an object in contact with a surface.
                                                

  • There are many types of friction.
3. Drag force: A force that opposes the motion of an object through a liquid or gas.

  • When he swims he do drag force.                                          
4. Gravity: A force of attraction that exists bewteen all objects with mass.
          

  • There is not gravity in space.
                                                  
5. Net force: The combined effect of all the forces acting on an object.

  • Her project has to be of a net force.
                                                           
6. Balanced forces: Forces that cancel each other out when acting together on a single object.

  •    A example of balanced force is the seesaw.                                    
7. Unbalanced force: Forces that do not cancel each other out when acting together on a single object.
                                                                  

  • He do an unbalanced force when he gets down of the bike.
8. Inertia: The tendency of an object to opposse a change in motion.

  • Thank you of the inertia there are many collision of cars.
                                                                  
                                                              
9. Momentum: The mass of an object multiplied by its velocity.

  •  I multiplied the momentum of  car.
