Learning about Heredity

Traits are physical characteristics it exist two types of traits the inherited and the heridity trait. Inheherited trait is the one that is passed from parent to offspring and heredity is the passing of inherited traits from parent to offspring. Genetics is the study of heredity.

Gregor Mendel was the first person to count the numbers and types of offspring of pea plants to measure the inheritance of specific traits. 

It exist two kinds of pollination the cross pollination that takes place when pollen from one flower is transport to a different flower and self-pollination that is the one that forms in the male part.

Also there is the dominant and recessive traits. Dominant is the one that shows the hybrid generation and Recessive the one that hide the hybrid generation.
